THE PAVILION AT THE CARLEEN BRIGHT ARBORETUM WEDDING
“Be the reason someone smiles today.”
“I know I haven’t met you, but I already feel like you would be perfect!” That was the first thing this bride, Amy, wrote me after her initial contact. She put the biggest smile on my face. It’s just such a nice feeling to be recognized as the photographer for my couples. We eventually planned a consultation at a Starbucks location that was in-between the both of us and it ended up being a Starbucks in a Target. 🙂 It was in the evening though, so we just made it work. Plus, I was able to get some shopping done after the consultation. Win-win!
Amy was just as nice in-person as she was via email and so was her fiancé, Christopher. They explained a little to me about their wedding plans and how Christopher really wanted to do a trash the dress session after the wedding wearing Amy’s wedding dress… Hey Christopher, I bet you thought I forgot about that eh?!
Every.single.time we made contact with each other pre-wedding and post-wedding, Amy was always just so pleasant to communicate with. I understood why this was after I met her family. I could tell she had a nice upbringing by the love in her mothers eyes. Amy was the oldest of 4 siblings. All 3 of her younger sisters looked up to her and there’s no wonder why. At their wedding, I was in for a big surprise as both Amy and Chris and all 3 of Amy’s sisters grabbed their musical instruments and started jamming out for their wedding guests. Amy on her electric guitar while singing… Chris on his acoustic, and the 3 sisters on the drums, guitar, and piano. It was amazing to say the least.
Special thanks to my assistant, Brittany.
