They say..."If you want something said, ask a man, but if you want something done, ask a woman." Well, in the world of photography, I like to say..."If you want pictures that capture the essence of you, just ask me."
As a seasoned photographer, I have over a decade of experience photographing hundreds of people and families. And weddings? Oh honey, weddings are my bread and butter!
You can call me a wedding photographer, but that's just scratching the surface of what I do. I have the remarkable privilege of capturing moments that will be treasured for a lifetime, and that responsibility is not one that I take lightly.
Behind my lens, my role goes far beyond merely taking photographs. As a photographer, I'm constantly switching hats - as a storyteller, stylist, visionary director, planner, problem solver, and your personal hype-woman all rolled into one. I wear so many hats that sometimes I forget which one I'm wearing.
I'm Lynnette, I'm sort of a Jack Jill, and you can call me a wedding photographer if you like, but know that my skills and dedication stretch far beyond what that title suggests.

Although I am very influenced by the aesthetics of editorial photography, I don't have just one photographic style. So, when I say that you are my inspiration, I really mean it.

So, when I take a photograph, I am not simply trying to create something pretty, but rather, to capture the essence of what I see and feel in that moment.

I LOVE DOGS
They say a dog is a man's best friend, but I swear that my Cane Corso was mine. Bella was a 130lb lap dog who loved peanut butter bones, the beach, and trips to Starbucks (for puppaccino's). And if love could have saved her, she would have lived fur-ever.

To put it best, my family is like a never-ending comedy show that I just want to binge-watch. My husband is the leading man, whose presence lights up our lives. Our teenager is the witty sidekick, keeping us constantly entertained. And our three older ones are the hilarious supporting cast that make every scene better. There's never a dull moment.

"It's the drink that has seen me through everything from stressful deadlines to heartbreaks to Monday mornings."
So, imagine my surprise when one of my couples had their limo driver take a 20-minute detour on our way to their wedding reception just to ensure I got my Starbucks fix. It wasn't necessary, but it was an unexpected kind gesture that I'll never forget. That level of kindness and selflessness still inspires me to this day. I want all my clients to feel cared for, just like that couple made me feel.

IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE MYSELF IN ONE WORD, IT WOULD BE WORKAHOLIC

Let's just say that if there was a Nobel Prize for overtime, I'd have my acceptance speech ready. I don't only work M-F, I work most weekends too. I've missed very important days of my family's lives (birthdays, holidays, sporting events...even funerals) for my client's events. I'm almost always working. I'm fueled by equal parts caffeine and love stories - which, coincidentally, makes me the perfect wedding photographer. And apparently, someone who inspires detours for coffee runs.
